Short: CARB; Authority in California which creates guidelines for carbon dioxide emissions. It specifies vehicle categories such as NEV, SULEV, PZEV, AT-PZEV or ZEV.
Conversion Car
A vehicle changed over for the use as a PHEV or BEV; the opposite of Purpose Design.
Cycle stability
Number of cycles a battery can run through until the battery's capacity falls below a certain percentage of its initial capacity.
